Very good. A TVR engine that pushes out pretty much exactly what is says on the tin. Is it a standard factory engine?

You've not seen the best of the engine at 6K.

I'm a little suspicious of the maps posted. I'm not disputing the power, but the 3.6 engine does not produce its power in the linear manner the graph suggests.

Yes your probably right John yes
But i only drive like granny on a shopping trip because i want to try to preserve the engine as long as possible. I believe that the biggest killer for a factory spec speed six is bad warm up to high rpm 7000 plus.

Yes i know im going to get flamed to ashes here. No i not an engineer or have any hands on knowledge of the workings of a speed six engine. Its just my conclusion and opinion of an owner and of someone who read ever thread on this forum

yes the engine was completly standard with tvrpower sports tailpipes.

when dealer mechanic drove it > " this car feels like it has a good engine and good strong torque compared to others iv driven recently"

it does feel very linear on the track i must say, doesn't ever kick out on me, even in the pouring rain at knockhill i didnt go sideways once, while managing to outpace the rest of the field, ie lotus, m3's, scoobs.
