water temp

Water temp has been flashing up to 120c - but then dropping down to 80 odd quickly. Dodgy sensor? Fans not coming on? Seems to be plenty of coolant.

Be careful not to overfil it. I was advised by a TVR dealer that they find their own level and not to be too concerned about being right on the line in the expansion tank.

Yep - sensor toward the front of the block does the display (only).
One toward the rear does the ecu.

Maybe just a dodgy connection on the front sensor?
