Hey guys,

has anyone experience how to change the oil of the SP6 engine?
Or is it possible to make it smooth an refill it with the new one? (From 10w 60 Castrol RS to 5w 40 Motul)
I've to do it by myself... No dealer support in my area (Germany).

Thankx

Hi !

I live in Sweden so I have to do all the work on my car by myself too. To change the oil on the speed six you have to drain the drysump by taking away the plug in the bottom of it. You have another drain on the engine itself, on the left side close to the front where the oilpipes are connected to the engine.
You must change the oilfilter at the same time as You change the oil. On my Speed Six Cerbera I have to take off the airbox to be able to get to the filter, it might be possible to get to the filter if You take the right side front wheel off, haven´t tried that.

I would also advise changing the oil filter at same time.

As Peppe said it is beneath the Air filter on right hand side.

Hi Peppe, George, thanks a lot for your advice... I'll do it in the next days.

SP6 rules ;-)
