Ok, so after see the raceproved stuff and various shiney Sagaris engines I'm wondering how easy it would be to get my Speed Six' cam cover painted. Is there some kind of enamelling or special finish I should be looking for?

Also, the top cover looks easy to take off - is it? Can I get a replacement gasket easily?

Well, winter is coming up and its time to fiddle ...

the factory offered me a new Red Sagaris/S cam cover when they rebuilt my engine in May as a sweetener. Mind you they could have just used a can of red enamel spray Either way it looks good!

That's interesting. I have not seen that 'lump' on the top of the camcover before.

There is not a gasket but sealant although Justin is doing a drawing (when he gets my print)and I are presently trying to get a company to make a small run.

It's easy to paint but difficult to get all the silicon sealant off first !!

Heath got mine done at the factory (in the same body colour) as well as the airbox and it definitely looked a lot better IMHO.
