Leave it in a garage or out in the sun for a day or two and then try it again. Should have dried out by then. Don't drive it too far if it doesn't sort itself though. I made the mistake of driving too far with some dodgy HT leads and ruined both cats......oh well. Good excuse for a de-cat
Wait until night time, start it up with the bonnet open and see if any sparks are visible. If so, that tells you where you have a break in the HT insulation and the corresponding component will need to be replaced.
If that doesn't do it then spray WD40 (water dispersant) over all the electrics and sensors, disconnect every connector you can see (one at a time to make sure they all go back in the right place) and spray the insides, give every wire you can see a good dose, basically get this stuff everywhere.
(You'll probably get some on the exhaust while you're at it so it'll wiff for a couple of minutes when you fire it up, but don't let that bother you.) Next, get a spare set of plugs and change them. (If you've had an ignition fault then you will almost certainly have fouled the plugs by now.)
