My Ford mech who is one of best in country has messed my engine.Everyone told me to go to Austec,but I thought anyone with engine building experience can do it.looks like no.he has offered to pay me back for labour,but car is off road again

peace of adivse,use someone with good tvr history and customr reports.i wish I did.

Bollocks, really feel for you mate. I'm sure Austec will sort you out, or Autocraft should have their SP6 replacement scheme up and running in the next couple of weeks, which would minimise time of the road. I know they're both a long way from Cumbria. good luck.

Sorry bud, I told you to go down Austec, but you got it cheaper elsewhere so thats where you went, your own doing mate.

What happened to the warranty this guy was offering you then? I think people who go with a company which has no major capital behind it believing the warranty offer is like buying a new TVR from a fish'n'chip shop... I did warn you! Anyway, sorry mate, see you on the weekend.

Sorry to hear that Jon, and I think you should be respected for having the balls in coming on here and being very honest, we all make mistakes, all we can do is learn from them.

Completely agree If we we're all so in the know, we'd fix it ourselves. All we can do is take an educated/informed guess. Such is the life of a TVR owner.

Why not try Automedon in Blackpool. Nearer to you and excellent, ex TVR factory.

Dave or Colin on 0845 408 4745 I know Colin worked on S6 engines at factory.
