I'm not sure if anyone will have a picture of the Speed Six engine on it's own parked on their drive...

I could give him that very shot in a couple of weeks, just before i shoehorn the bugger back in to the TUSCAN. It seems strange that he doesn't want a pic of the actual car!

just found out why he wants the pics, he is moving to france and starting up his own new/used car dealership (not dodgy of course) and is intending to deal with all the cars requested and has asked me to very kindly ask you lot for the pics so he can get them and print them out and use them as framed pictures for his office. he thinks it would be better for real life cars rather than the ones off google images etc

Steal to order anyone?

Edited to add... maybe the request is innocent but surely the author would understand if people were wary about vehicle security

True, but I don't think someone looking to steal a speed six engine and a T440R is going to get too far. Seems a funny order.

You forgot to include the drive and your house (preferably showing house number, street name, etc.

Erm... Thats an engine mate, not a car, an engine. Every member on here should know that.

Warning - do not provide pictures. This is a very suspicious request.

Err - isn't this exactly what's available from lots of people's profile photos (including mine!)?

If there's a security issue then maybe we should all take our pics off?

Some people provided some pictures and were then asked for 'rear shots' or from different angles etc, which might be construed as trying to find out house number, registration etc.

Combined with a link to a personal website or business website this might help identify where you live.

All I'm saying is exercise caution with what combination of information you put online.

Yes - that seems much less innocent.

Particularly irritated by the latest trend of breaking into someone's house to steal their car keys then totalling their car.

You wouldn't get far in mine though

Seems to have gone a little quiet from 'disco' since Ted alerted everyone?!

And also its very dodgy with someone whos only been a member for a month. If someone had been a member for longer and posted more, then it wouldn't seem such a problem to me.
