Hi,
Sorry, but during the winter months I forgot the correct procedure told to me when I bought my Tuscan on checking the oil level, I think the salesman said "once you turn the engine off and the fans go off, check the level" is this correct? Also what type is best recommended, I remember I used shell last year but cant remember the grade. Cheers

check the oil as soon as you switch the engine off. and when its hot. i use mobil1 15w40/50 cant remember which. it was on the thinner stuff for 1000 miles after rebuild, then at 1000 service was told to use thicker stuff, both the factory and gorners have said the same thing.
