As per my misfire thread, I'm really struggling to isolate and solve my misfire.
Has anyone got a Mk1 ECU (I'm in a 2002 tuscan) (ECU is the MBE one with 3 square cam lock connectors on it) that they could lend me for a test ?
Would be really appreciated as I'm almost out of ideas atm.

Some news...no fix yet though. I have proved it only does it after revving...hot or cold. I can poddle around for 30-40 mins with no misfire and fans on (so hot). Boot it in 4th at low revs...no misfire. Boot it in 2nd, high revs, instant misfire on overrun and then normal re-application of gas. And once it goes wrong it stays wrong. Only odd thing is the way you can floor it and break through the nasty and off it goes again.
I probed the primary waveforms on mosfet drivers in the ecu yesterday...omg, what a mess !!! I think I found a ref on the web that makes me think its fuel pump or filter. Link is here. It looks just like the fuel pump/filter example about 2/3rd down the page. All 3 coil waveforms look the same.

New pump and filter on order !
BTW: Did a hot leakdown test on 1 5 and 6 again...it takes quite a long time to loose last 10psi of pressure (talking 20 secs or so) so I think that rules out burnt valves. Also looks like "there's a waveform for that" and I didnt see anything like that during drive probing.

I wonder if the fuel pressure regulator is playing up. Think about the full throttle and vacuum while the engine is running. I have experienced a blocked, partially, filter ( not in a TVR) and you will get a spot of normal running then run out of puff while the fuel passes the filter and builds pressure in the line. If this isn’t closing when it should it would be surely be dumping fuel? Still don’t get its function and purpose though. Hook the hose off then it is “blind” to the throttle position
