cerbera misfire when hot
Discussion
Hi all
I am having a sub 3k misfire under high load and a cleaner but lower power feeling at higher rpm when engine is up to temp, I can replicate this in neutral by blipping the throttle and it sounds like I loose a cylinder. Adaptives are around 20%- on 1-3 and moving nicely around +/- 5% so I think I must have a miss fire on 1-3 lamda are switching nicely on both banks
I have replaced the plug leads but no change and the throttle bodies are all synced at exactly 7 and have been for the last few thousand miles, I have a coil pack on the way I will be doing the plugs also, is there anything else I should be looking at?
Runs great for the first 10 miles then plays up but if you leave it for switched off for 10 mins when hot will run fine for about 2 mins then play up again
thanks in advance Mark

Sounds like it's a Spd6, rather than a V8?
Reckon you're on the right track with coil pack - think you mentioned plugs too?
I'd also be inclined to replace the HT leads.....All of these can cause the 3K misfire.
The fact that it occurs when hot/after ~10 mins would suggest a temperature breakdown of the components.
