The components simply slide back on the two spindles. That's basically the whole lot is there on the wife's oak table shhhh biggrin




I saw your other thread looking for followers. Are you rebuilding?

Thanks for the help as I'm putting my engine back together from a bucket of bolts, wouldn't be so bad if I'd taken it apart myself but a well known Tvr dealer did that for me four years ago so had enough had picked it up in bits smile

Regarding torque settings what is the recommend for rods and mains

I had forged rods and arp bolts but the specialist who supplied my parts recommended 50lbft for both. Standard rods are 40ftlb

Returns the oil from the crankcase to the oil tank.

Never stripped an automotive one before but this looks like an almost identically styled gear pump to the types used on civil jet engines... nice pic!
