very sick red rose engine

Bought some years ago a Salvage low Milage Red Rose from 2001 and never used it. Now I want to run with the car the Engine is making very sick Noises. Fingers and camshafts are gone and the cilinders have pitting. And 1mm Flow play. (Axial bearing) Fortunately I have a very good "S" spare Engine.

Can I use both Compnents to make one good Engine? How about the differences between the early Red Rose and the later S Engine?
