The Fuel Rail Issues Continue....
Discussion
Man alive I'm fed up with this.
After wrecking two sets of O rings, on and off 5 times its still playing up.
Its leaked from the blanking nut at the end.Its now leaking from the connector where the flexi hose attaches to the the rigid fuel line that goes into the bulkhead. See pic.
Can you help please coz I cant seem to tighten it.When I turn it the two nuts turn the same way &I'm struggling to get two spanners in there to lock one off the nuts and turn the other. (Hope that makes sense).
Now treat me like the dumbass I must be & tell me which nut I should be turning and which way please. At the mo the two just spin & I know it will leak again.Wouldnt surprise me if I was undoing the blummin thing!

take it apart again and clean the inner and outer threads with a brush. I usually put some oil or grease on the threads. make sure the collar of the rigid tube is not damaged. if its damaged, you will not get it leakproof without special sealant.
if I remember correctly the flexi tube goes in/onto the rigid tube with an o-ring on it. turn and tighten the retainer nut anti-clockwise by hand until it stops at the collar. tigthten with short spanners an additional 1/4 (or maybe a 1/2) turn, thats it.
BTW: your fixed tube looks buckled ? be careful not crack it inside the passenger cabin ...
