Used to run a T350 with a Jason Clegg 4ltr. It had the 3.73 diff and I felt it worked really well! Insane in-gear acceleration and not too revvy/loud on the motorway and at speed.

Been looking at the silver T350 with the power 4.3 engine on PH and the car runs a std 3.43 diff. My question is, and I know it not the easiest to answer, but would I notice much of a difference between my eng/diff combo and the 4.3 engine with the std diff? My T350 v.rarely went above 120mph - I'm all about in gear acceleration.

Your thoughts/experiences please.

I'm about to change my diff in my T350 from a 3.4 to a 4.1 I want max acceleration not top end, at 6500 rpm in 4th you should be pulling 120 mph, at 70mph rpm will be around 3000rpm.
Mine is a 3.6L which is why I'm going very low diff ratio but with a 4.3L I should think the extra power will be quick enough with a 3.4 diff really you need to drive it.

Buzz Bilsberry has just had a 4.3 put in his Tam and it runs a 3.73...... Expect he'll be along to share his experience now its run in. Or drop him a note.
You could always buy the T350 and swap the diff if its not quick enough with a 3.4. It shouldn't cost the earth to swap.

Thanks for that, shocked the silver T350 with a Dom Power 4.3 hasn't sold yet to be honest. I'd definitely be interested in hearing how the 4.3 goes with a 3.73 diff. I ran a 12.3 quarter mile with my engine, so that engine diff combo would be mental!
