Fuel Rail Help
Discussion
So what was meant to be an easy job that even I could do is turning me into Michael Douglas from Falling down.I cant even resize a picture to post from my phone!
I am trying to remove the rail to powder coat it,but I cannot disconnect the fuel line at the bulkhead end of the rail.Cant get access to turn the spanners.Driving me nuts.
The other thing is although I have removed the 4 bolts holding it in place it just doesnt want to budge. Am I just being a wuss and need to be a lot more forceful?
Any tips welcome coz I'm getting angry....you dont wanna see me when I'm angry.

Bolt securing banjo fuel input is clucking tight !
The 4 rail bolts come out, then you have to lever the whole rail up carefully to pull the injectors out of the bodies...they push fight using o-rings and are each pretty tight, so x6 ! I use a long piece of wood under the middle of rail and level up against the cam cover. Then a game of rocking and twisting the whole lot to get the injectors clear behind the bodies, then move the whole lot sideways and the injectors slip out between the bodies and the rail will lift up and away

Hi Ben I hope you are well pal?
I have had the car back, run the engine in (1200 miles) and recently returned it to Devon for a service Omex install and remap. Cant wait to get it back!
