I am looking for a speed six engine block if someone has one squirreled away somewhere I have been offered one from a breaker but would rather not pay breaker prices. A block from any size engine would be fine as I am informed that they are all the same size.

Out of interest why are you looking for the block, taking into consideration your other thread. Was the root cause of failuer not the butterfly screw?

Why are they doing that. I was lead to beleive that the speed six block is still being produced.

I recall reading that Power prefer used blocks (read heat cycled blocks) for their rebuilds. Reduces risk of porosity- and stress related failures.
