Hi James sorry for the removal but the naming and shaming issue has become so entrenched on the thread that it has been decided by Haymarket that it is no longer viable to leave live.
You are now unable to view this thread anywhere on PH.
The rules regarding N&S have been in place for many years and will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
Sorry for the disappointment of the demise, but the naming and shaming scenario has cost Haymarket many 100's of £1000 in legal fees since their purchase of the site, and they would much prefer to invest any profits back into the site rather potential legal costs fighting N&S issues.
HTH.

Hi Jim, IIRC this guy, Dave E, introduced the naming and shaming rule even before TVRCraft: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem...
So a thread that provides a timeline and catalog of information to aid people in making decisions about the choice of engine builders doesn't warrant a place in a public forum? Hmmmm, sounds a bit nanny state to me.
Pity you can't just XXXXXX out the names or posts that cause the issues. Do those (the authors) who have posted have access to their previously published work?

It may appear nanny state to you but the rules relating to N&S haven't changed since Teds day and are the same today. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
