I shouldn't think it would cause any damage to the Speed Six but it may well cause damage to your hearing! that is going to be one VERY LOUD car.

As stated before the only negative of that will be Tinnitus, my Tamora has a straight through exhaust and you can still hear it 5 mins after switching the engine off.

Do you get lots of pops and bangs on the over run. Mine sounds like I'm on a firing range!

Yeah lots of pops and bangs, I think it may have an overrun map on it because it is a little ridiculous, this is a little video I shot in the Hindhead tunnel, bad video quality but you get an idea about the noise.

Mine is currently running a full JP straight through system with wrapped manifolds and decats, should be going in for new cams soon.

I have decats and CCC end cans, and it's a bit too much outside of a tunnel run environment. I actually felt a bit of a plonker when just cruising around.

Anyway, I put the standard cans back on and they get rid of the tinniness, add a nice bit of bass, reduce the outrageous volume, but still allow a satisfying level of overrun lairyness.

Don.Sorry for the delay. So far I've had it back nearly two weeks from having the cutting out & 2nd gear issues solved. Its been spot on.Only doing 3k revs & light acceleration. Done 500 miles so far.It sounds fantastic. Having the manifolds wrapped as well has made it pop n bang to a ridiculous level. It did it a lot before but now its insane.
Only issue I've had is a slight leak from the back of the cam cover. It looks like a bit of silicone has been dislodged.

Still got some jobs to be completed but engine wise all seems good.I changed the starter mofor as well & now it fires up when hot no problem.

Hope yours is back the weekend mate.

Hinesy.
