The RND thread is still here, but cant see the news thread.

Would be nice to understand what the issues were and how they were resolved for future reference.

Yer spotted that I can only assume that RND have had it removed
I really can't talk about the issue
It would be against the advice of the legal team

I had been tempted by RND parts like their GT cams, but looks like I'll stick with Power. You know what your getting with them, and if its not right gets put right..

Seems certain people do not want the issues to be known.Maybe PH have changed their name & shame policy to "even the merest hint of naming & shaming or saying anything negative" .

Let it be said that the situation has worsened for him even more.

To be fair to I don't think RND parts are the issue at all.

I'd hoped you had pulled it because you had a resolution.

I hope whatever the issue you get it resolved satisfactorily and promptly.

From what I've seen - there is no company that is able to deliver on modifying a TVR in a bespoke way that has not been done before. So it seems don't trust any company as they are happy to promise the moon but they never back it up with results.

Sad really - anyone had an experience to the contrary?

I think it's more to do with potential support if there's a problem, and a perception thing of how a retailer/service provider will handle any issue.

I'd much rather hear a story detailing a problem with a supplier and how said supplier rectified the problem, rather than what we've got here, which is a big helping of "brushing under the carpet".

Probably exactly the same happened to that thread as the thread where I mentioned pulling the plug on my supercharged engine...

As a customer you clearly can't express any bad experiences with companies, without being "deformatory" towards them. Customer do have rights to express their feelings, good or bad, and this IS a public forum (which IMO is used to share knowledge, good or bad) between people.

Anyway, as you were...

Unfortunately not. Loads of promises that end up being "never expressed" if you take any further steps against the company making the promises.

The image of you driving a coach seems to stir up memories of the end of the Italian Job. biggrin
