Starter Motor Cable

Sorry for asking but I know nothing about them.

I have decided to uprate the starter motor which I have as good as sorted,but thought I'd best do the cable as well,for good measure.

Does it need to be a heavier duty cable? Does it just need to be heat shielded? Does it need to be a specific rating etc etc.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Dave I think the problem is your crank not the starter
