Undone all bolts and spacers - airbox comes away from inlets (just) but there doesn't appear to be enough space to remove airbox completely - any advice or is it simply a need for more 'wriggling'?
Plan on re-painting so also concerned about getting back in without marking?

Cheers

What catch?

In my S6 Cerb there are 4 bolts and spacers holding it on to two plates joining the fuel rail. Also a jubilee to the hose to the oil tank breather and one to the air filter hose and thats it.

However there is a small breather pipe thats a push fit at the rear of the airbox that needs to come off. You can get to it if you pull the airbox forward once off the throttle bodies.

Also I assume you have taken the large fibreglass panel at the base of the windscreen off!! (I think you must have to get to the rear most bolts)

More wiggling required, once free of the throttle bodies pull it up towards you from the throttle body end and slide it forward and out.

As requested couple of pics. Airbox resprayed in Metallic Black. Re-fitting was fiddly esp with new paint!! New stainless fittings and covered the old brackets in carbon - will see how and if they withstand the heat!!
Next job a new Cam Cover!!!
Thanks

Looking brilliant, what prep did you do to the box?? What paint did you use?

I just took it to a local bodyshop in the end, who just happened to be doing some bodywork on a Lotus Elise in Metallic Black!!!
All in all £100 (cash) to prep and spray both the main air-box and front filter cover, incl removal and re-rivet of the catches.
Thanks

It looks good, I have toyed with the idea of doing a Carbon wrap on the airbox and air intake cover but worry incase it will look a bit max power!!.

Is the battery cover than sweeps in front of the widscreen a different colour from the rest of the car?. It looks grey in the pictures where as the car looks blue or is it just the flash from the camera making it look a different colour.

Good spot.
The original scuttle panel paint had bubbled from the heat so sent it off 'home' to Blackpool to be repainted. Whilst it was away I bought a replacement from a breakers made a few additional breather holes and painted it with 'meatallic grey exhaust paint'. Last service found the fan sensor wasn't working which was the cause of the excessive heat and subsequent paint bubbling.
I now have a pristine 'Crystal Topaz' scuttle panel sitting in my garage ready to fit as and when the occasion arises!!

I also thought about carbon wrap for the airbox - spoke to a very helpful company in Southampton called 'Modify my Car', but went the paint route in the end.

I did my air box in a carbon wrap, it's not perfect but better than the paint was.

Hi Kevin it was your comments on the Cerbera forum made me consider the carbon wrap.
I spoke to a couple of local companies who were very iffy about doing the job. Something to do with when applying the wrap you need to re-lift, pull and re-apply, they were worried the paint would lift as fiberglass substrate!!
As mentioned the only ones who seemed to be both interested and responsive were Modify my Car.
Anyway, as you have seen, decided on the metallic paint. Next job will be the cam cover.

I ended up with doing the wrap myself, I did it because a professional had a go at my air box twice with respraying it but with no success. If my air box had come out like yours I would have been very happy indeed.

There are the Cerbera Speed Six boxes and then there are all the others which are different to the Cerbera.
