I tried to remove my spark plugs to change them a year or two ago between services, but being a numpty failed, I could loosen the plug but couldn't get it up the neck. I had the cam cover on and only removed the spark plug cover them the leads. I used a long T shaped spark plug wrench which I would use again but how do I get the spark plug up and out??

Some plug wrenches have a rubber washer in them which grabs the pug, if yours doesn't have this then you can stick some bluetack in the end of the wrench or socket and this usually works by sticking to the tip of the plug. Or you could loosen the plug then use the lead to remove it.

A halfords pro 3/8 drive plug socket works a treat.
