Do I need any new gaskets if
Discussion
I am planning to improve the look of the engine bay on my Cerb Sp6 over the winter.I want to take off the plug and rocker covers plus the fuel rail to have them re-finished.
Any tips or advice for this and is it a straight-forward DIY job? - will I need new gaskets or any other new parts for re-assembly?
Thanks for any info...

I powder coated my cam cover and fuel rail last winter and only needed to replace the silcon type sealant that was around the cam cover as it does not have a gasket. You can get a gasket for it now but the sealant works well and as far as I know all sp6 engines left the factory with sealant.
It is an easy job but really tidied up the engine bay, and don't forget to get the spark plug cover done also. Their is a picture of mine on my profile if you want a peek, I am a novice with the spanners so not a difficult job to remove and refit.
