Now I have the software up and running. I do notice the adaptives are way different. 30% different at start up 10% when warm.
Is there a rule on re setting. I can see where to do it , it gives me an 'are your sure' warning, what do you think.

Car is running well as it is.
All other info looks ok, throttles are very near and all else says OK.

Can't help with your question but congratulations on getting the software up and running. How did you manage it?

The "Sagaris bible" suggests the software will work with Vista at least, using windows 95/98 compatability mode. Go into the properties if the application file, compatability tab, pick 95/98. I can't vouch that this works, but that's the theory anyway. Let me know if works for you because at the moment I'm looking for an old laptop.

I should warn you I'm v new to TVR ownership, it's all book lernin' smile This topic may have been covered previously and the compatability thing may not work.

i got the software working on windows 7, but not through compatability mode - that wouldnt work. I installed a 'virtual box' which basically allows another operating system to run inside windows. I installed win 2000 and then had to update all the graphics settings but eventually got there.

I used a maplins serial to usb comvertor.

Its a bit clunky but works ok, i didnt have an old laptop which i believe would have been easier to be honest.

I used free software called oracle i think...

HTH, rob

ps to the OP, on the face of it the adaptives sound OK, for what reason were you looking?
