Nothing much, just wanted to say that a sweet late S6 engine is as good as it gets smile And for me, it suits the character of the cars perfectly!

I know people start threads about 'if' a new TVR was made it should have a crate engine this, or a crate engine that, but the Speed 6 by 2005 was great and pretty much sorted.

Love 'em smile

So for 6 years from 99 to 2005 TVR sold an engine that was,nt "Sorted" that trashed the TVR name,
Maybe S6 could be "Sorted 6" years late

Better late than never though. smile

Today in 2012 if you want a modern but quintessentially English sports car that seriously delivers then a S6 late Tiv really does take some beating.

Slinging that engine down English lanes, the spiritual home of the straight 6, is a wonderful experience.

The Chevvy option is clearly brilliant when done correctly but is a totally different experience so it just depends which one you want.

I have to say, I have a 2002 Tamora, and my speed six is "out of the box" condition. 53K miles and still as sweet as a nut!!

Long live the speed six!!

Mine's a 2003 with 48k on the clock.
Its running perfectly too.
SRR reckon 333bhp, so all seems to be well.

In fact, it seems to be getting better now that I've been using it lots (last owner was more occasional).
