There are loads of people wanting to know how many S6 engined cars have had rebuilds, when, etc. So, along with the sister-thread to this, if you HAVE HAD a rebuild can you place one post here.

If possible, can you state:
* The year (and hopefully month) the car was made
* How many miles it's done
* How many times it's been rebuilt
* When it was rebuilt (miles/chronology)
* What it was rebuilt for

Please lets not get into discussions on this thread - would just really like some stats. Cheers!

2002 Tamora, 12k

Currently undergoing work. Head sent to TVR Power (TWICE!) to drill out and replace valve guides as they were shot plus whatever else. New gasket, new O rings. Throttle butterflys will need adjusting.

Current time off road 5 weeks and counting.

I'll get a complete list of work done and update once car is back.

Sept 2001 Tuscan 4.0

Being rebuilt at present with 13K miles on the clock due to worn followers

Currently been at TVR Power 3 weeks with another 8 weeks estimated

maybe we should have had this in the general section and picked up all the Tamora/Cerb S6 owners too?

Tuscan S 2002, just had full rebuild at factory on 17.5K. It took 7 weeks and arrived back 2 weeks ago. I have done 250 miles so far running it in and it feels like a new car. Factory gave me a 6 month engine warranty as well.
