I've searched for one gents but I can't find one!

Can anyone summarise the process?

Thanks,

I suspect you will need the speed 6 bible for the details as it's a bit more invovlved than standard cars. You could pay a specialist garage to do it for probably not much more than the price you'd pay for the oil yourself and watch how it's done!

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, I just thought your post was looking a bit forlorn. smile

Don't forget that a lot of Speed Six oil changes don't actually change all of the oil - just the stuff that is easy to drain out. 50% of the oil remains in the bottom/gear box etc....

When i have changed in the past i take off the oil tank drain plug and there is also a plug on the bottom of the main engine block, if you jack the car correctly you can get everything out.

All as Robertjp says plus there is also a filter in where the large oil pipe meets the reservoir when undone you then require a new ring type gasket comes all in the kit from Powers

Thanks Guys.

I got a good 7.5l out of it and used Dom's recommendation for oil.

Runs a lot better now. I've gained a slight oil leak at the top of the tank now though, so I've ordered the updated gasket for it.
