Oil pressure relief spring

I'm on with a few things on my Tuscan and looking to swap the pressure relief spring in my S6 as it's getting on in miles. I ordered one a while back, listed to fit both the AJP and S6, but when I tried to swap it, the replacement was a different size (smaller) than the one in my engine.

a) could someone confirm that the relief spring is under the (iirc) 22mm plug on the bottom front corner of the sump where the oil hoses attach?

b) has anyone bought a replacement spring the right size and if so, where from?
