Oil Extractors
Discussion
Going to be dropping the oil out of my Tuscan. I really want to get rid of as much is possible.
I can see the drain plug by the bell housing which I could probably get to but i reckon without out taking the bell housing off, it could be tricky to get back in.
Im thinking of using an extractor on the side drain on the crank case. Any one recommend one which will do a decent job of sealing up to the drain and getting all the drges out?

Best let it drain naturally then syphon using a small bore clear plastic/nylon pipe poking it into the drain, so to remove the rest of oil that sits bleow the plug level.Im thinking of using an extractor on the side drain on the crank case. Hi Graham,
do you tilt the car up on the passenger side to get the oil sitting all on the driver side of the crank case?
Yes, passenger side rear tilt up.do you tilt the car up on the passenger side to get the oil sitting all on the driver side of the crank case?
No need to remove the scavenge hose as it drains into sump anyway.
Its worth checking the strainer at the dry sump tank for crap.
