The wiring diagram says:

N 1,5 Or ECU pin 37 (Stepper pin 2)
P 1,5 Yel ECU pin 39 (Stepper pin 1)
R 1,5 Bl ECU pin 1 (Stepper pin 4)
S 1,5 Pk ECU pin 54 (Stepper pin 3)

I can't seem to find what the pins are for. I want to use the pins for a stepper on a LS engine.

I think they're redundant pins with the TVR version of the MBE ECU. Just that the generic full function MBE plugs are still used.

I recently opened my (old) MBE and was shocked, the bloody thing had a burnt chip on it !!!
After some investigation I found out, it was the stepper-motor driver chip. I have no idea where a stepper motor is used in the car (cerb, sp6, 1999) but something has burnt the chip. However, the rest of the ECU seems to work, at least I have not noticed any other faults.

Where did you get the information of the pinout of the ECU ? Have you got schematics ?
