Hoping some one might be able to help. Have looked in the Sagaris manual but cant find anything specific mentioned.

My car had a non standard high pressure oil hose from cooler to block. It coused the oilcooler to sit off its mounts. Ive bought the correct hose and cant seem to get the elbow to do up tight enough to the cooler side to remove the gap from the gland nut to pipe elbow if that makes sense.

Should there be a washer between the oil cooler and the gland nut on the pipe.

Really want to get this thing back on the road now.

Hi Matt

There isn't a part listed for it anywhere, but it might have had one. Where did you get it from?

Hi neill,

The gap is directly behind the nut where the elbow mates.

As you can see from the pic iv run out of thread. I think a washer is my only option. Was going to use a copper sump type.

Ok have sorted now. Where I rebuilt the oil cooler the outlet unions had got swapped over. Have swapped back and they clamp up tight now.

Good man, was going to suggest that maybe they got switched, or that it had been shortened somehow.
