Anyone seen the article? Just had a brief email from a pal about a Richard Hammond review in the latest magazine and apparently he used the words "really rather brilliant".

Can't get out to pick up a copy yet, and can't get hold of my mate to scan and email a copy. Interested to see what it says.

Is it the 2011 awards issue?

It might be a collectors item if Clarkson continues with his 'free speech'..

The copy I have is December 2011 South African! Don't know if that makes a big difference to the content, I'll check when I get home. The cover looks like this.

Let me know!

It's the Cars of 2011 edition.

Very positive little article which will get Tuscan owners frothing and demanding that Hammond is taken out and shot.

Although in New Britain this will make them criminals who must be taken out and shot for making vile demands that must not be tolerated. biggrin

It's not the right one chaps, sorry. Doubt it would have been a balanced read anyway!

Yes it is.

It's only a small article.

Does anyone who knows the slightest thing about cars give a damn what Clarksons plaything says? He will never be kind to TVR as it's an easy 'joke' for him. He has to be THE most annoying cock on TV. [and in print] Yet he thinks he and Clarkson are, 'really, rather, brilliant'.

He seemed to think it was brilliant.

Most of them were crap when they left the factory. I certainly don't have a problem with people saying what was true. The monkeys in the factory should have paid more attention and put them together better instead of leaving us owners and dealers to sort them out.

If you can't get a car to a journalist that is stuck together properly then you get what you deserve. Bad management.

I have contempt for the people who comprehensively failed to do their job, not the clowns who publicly picked them up on it.

Hmmmm DonkeyApple, a bit of a rant at the former employees there....
I'm sure some cars left the factory in an ok condition - although I notice bits fell off the Sag on the Ch5 auto test with Jason Plato and Vicky whats-her-face toying with a pair....

However I think you should also have contempt for those Top Gear clowns too - they really are clowns.

More a rant at the boss and his management. It was their job to ensure their workers ensured the cars were better built.

All management will make mistakes and hire st staff every so often but only st management then keeps them.

It is incredible that a company would deliver cars to the most important people for promoting their product and not even ensure those cars had enough glue and only in the right places.

Seriously piss poor.

Apologies for the rant but it isn't the journos fault that the car they are testing falls apart or breaks it is solely the fault of the company and those responsible at the top.

So anyone got a copy that they can quickly scan, or transpose for those of us not in the UK?

Cheers
