Differnce between MBE 941 and 970 ECU:s

Anybody that know what differences there is on the 941 vs 970 MBE ECU:s for a Speed Six. The reason why I am asking is that I have bought a engine that came with a ECU. The engine has been mapped on a rolling road a while ago so the new maps must be in the ECU that came with the engine.
My car has the 941 ECU from factory and the "new" engine has a 970 ECU, are the ECU:s switchable with each other?
They have the same connector on top of them, is the rest of the wire loom also the same?
