using 3.6 pistons in 4.0 litre engine.

3.6 pistons if you fit them as is the compression will be 11.75 to 1 nominal,and the piston sits down the bore by .5mm or .020 thou the standard 4.0 piston sits above the deck by .5mm or .020 thou so you have good squish .75mm or .030 thou nominal. The piston to head face on the 3.6 piston fitted in a 4.0 litre is 1.75mm or .070 thou so the sqish is not so good.?
