Head woes

Fitted new head, runs nice, car had been sat fir months. Oil and water mixing like a good un. New head no good or something else?

Is your head gasket fitted correctly if so did you check head to make sure it was flat or skimmed it before fitting

Worse case rings on the head gasket, dropped/cracked liner, block issue?

Any gas in the cooling system? How are you seeing the water in the oil, is there oil in the water? Compression test?Water in the exhaust?

Just a few suggestions.

Water in oil and oil in water. Compression test shows that system is loosing psi, but inconclusive. Just gutted that the engine has to come out again. Googling how to tie a noose as I type...

When mine went in the block needed to be decked and some of the piston rings looking worse for ware so might want to check there.

Did you fit the o rings on the oil ways from block to head?
