From searching around I can see there is a decent amount of info for the ajp v8, especially the workshop manual for the engine build up.
Is there the equivalent available for the speed six to assist when it inevitably needs rebuilding. Iv searched around and can't really find any workshop manuals with torque settings tolerances etc

you need Graham Varleys sagaris manual, covers most things speed 6 related.

I have read threads on the manual that his been written by graham varley. I'm not sure it covers all the information I'm after such as rebuild tolerances and torque settings. I may have misread but I didn't think it had the detail of the tvr ajp engine build manual that's floating about?

It does include the factory build information and bores sizes etc.

I have a couple of unclaimed workshop manuals available from the last group buy.

I`d snap one up if I were you, it has all of the torque settings, rebuild info, electrics, trim , everything, check out grahams site linked above and see for yourself.

Thanks for that. Would there theoretically be enough info to do a bottom end rebuild. The level of info available will determine whether I go for a ajp cerbera or a Tuscan. I intend on doing everything myself so the more info the easier it will be.

Was any workshop documentation liberated from tvr itself.

ETA.
Thanks Clive just seen your last post.

I would recommend Varleys excellent manual even to someone with a non-S6 modern TVR, it is that good.

Hi Graham

How many £££'s for a copy? Please note that I am poor and there is a recession on smile

Less than the hours labour it would cost at any respectable TVR independant to do any of the hundreds of things covered in the manual. I am a big fan of this, well worth buying. Seriously, it is less than a tank of petrol.

Is everything in this manual contained in the link posted above or is there further info in the printed copy?

On the subject of info has anyone used RND Engineering. They state they own the original drawings to the speed six and have a number of components which resolve common speed six issues.

Look at these links here, the rebuild of a Speed6 head, all using RND parts.

I used RND's parts in my head rebuild. Good stuff. As used by Dulfords

Think they now sell through B-Tec
