Cam chain scrapping on the Rocker Cover

I tightened the timing chain recently, it had abt 12mm movement between the cams...which I have reduced to abt 5mm. I also noticed chain marks in the rocker cover due to the loose chain. This prompted me to chain the oil filter in case it had traces of rocker cover.

Also in February I put a magnet on the oil filter (Filtermag).. I was also curious to see its effects.

This is the oil filter where the magnet was...with noticable amounts of crud. I was surprised to see so much there...
