Zero Oil Pressure!

What are the likely causes? There are no apparent leaks under the car or on the road, but there's no oil on the dipstick after having filled it recently. There is, however, evidence (smoke and splatter) of oil being burned and spat out of the left exhaust, especially under open throttle. Oil consumption had been quite heavy for a while.

Have you used a dial pressure test gauge to ensure that its not just a faulty sender?

If there is no oil and U've just filled it you're probably got burnt valves, worn stem guides or head gasket issues. Sorry, but there's only 2 reasons for oil loss, it goes down with gravity, or it burns!

Scavenger pump failed, hence no oil in the tank. Rebuild on the necessary, so Power 4.3 methinks...

Quick question, is the scavenger pump fails the oil pressure will show 0 psi and you`ll get a warning.. Surely turning off the engine, getting it to a dealer would (potentially) avoid any major rebuild?

.....not easy when you are doing 140+ down the back end of Goodwood at the time...

Apparently they found debris in the engine. Broken scavenge pump chain etc.
