Zero Oil Pressure!
Discussion
What are the likely causes? There are no apparent leaks under the car or on the road, but there's no oil on the dipstick after having filled it recently. There is, however, evidence (smoke and splatter) of oil being burned and spat out of the left exhaust, especially under open throttle. Oil consumption had been quite heavy for a while.

Scavenger pump failed, hence no oil in the tank. Rebuild on the necessary, so Power 4.3 methinks...
Quick question, is the scavenger pump fails the oil pressure will show 0 psi and you`ll get a warning.. Surely turning off the engine, getting it to a dealer would (potentially) avoid any major rebuild?KillerJim said:

Apparently they found debris in the engine. Broken scavenge pump chain etc.For more info about what may have happened to my car's engine...
