Anybody got a part number number for the steel cooling pipe that comes around the front of the engine?

Thanks

Never seen that pipe listed as a spare frown

I got mine re-zinced and colour passivated at a local platers. Came up very nicely

These are on my to do list.

They will be in stainless and will have the ends turned to form a good seal around the rubber hoses as per the original item.

Won't be making these until at least mid - end of June though.

Cheers. Lee.

Off topic but...How do you find it runs with just the filters in the throttle bodies ? Any problem with drawing hot air when sitting in traffic ? Is it very noisy from induction roar ?

They were on when I bought the car, it runs fine in traffic and no adverse effects. I was going to run it on the dyno as is, and then try some trumpets (75mm)and maybe a std airbox. I also would like to try a new airbox, not because it will be any better but it hasn't got one at the moment, a 2nd hand one is £250(and not very good IMHO) and the carbon one is very expensive but good. I quite like doing my own thing!

The noise is to die for, as it was sleeved and de-catted.

Looks good Neill, but you do know that now you have some red silicone pipes that the law of TVR says you must replace all of the black ones with red, polish all aluminium, replace rocker cover bolts with stainless, powder coat the engine and fit hinges to the bonnet smile

Sorry for the really late reply. I used an aluminium pipe from http://www.apmotorstore.co.uk/ , would have gone for stainless out of choice. I can't remember the pipe diameter, but will find out for you.
