Hi all, I'd like to watch some Irish sports, but I believe it's blocked here due to advertising or copyright issues of sorts. Is there a way around this?.

Thanks in advance.
Oh, and up Tipp!

You need to google "Tor" and "foxyproxy".....there is a way to do this using a distributed proxy!

You won't get it on TV here, but why not go watch it live. There's plenty of it about smile

Yes, I have done a bit of research already, and It would appear that finding an Irish proxy server that works would be great.
The only other way I can see is having someone in Ireland who gets it via the net and it gets fed to you via their computer. But none of them do, despite their claims!
I can't believe the Irish in this country have not found an easier way round this.
I wondered about a satellite dish. You can get Polish ones.

Ah yes, that would be good! But have you seen the price of flights the minute there's even a sniff of something interesting to go and see? I'd have to sell me car!biggrin

The easiest way to watch GAA and that other game is to get an Irish Sky card and use it in your Sky box, if you have Sky. You will need an Irish bank account to pay the dd.
This question has been asked many times before on www.gaaboard.com/board If you use the search function there you will get some answers.
GAA games are also available on the likes of sopcast iraqgoals etc, but coverage can be patchy.

Good Luck in next years All Ireland Hurling series, but your footballers are going to get a hell of a beating in Newry in the league.
