Due to demand i have set up a Daihatsu Charade Owners Club of Ireland. All models turbo and non, if you own or would like to own a charade and live in the best country known to man (Ireland) please show your support for this new club. Charade GTti's are a bit special - I have one and have converted a number of non believers.
They're a bit like a 205 Gti or a Renault 5 turbo only quicker and more reliable.
As standard they run 99bhp and weigh less than a tonne and all from a 993cc 3 cylinder twin cam turbo'd, intercooled and 4 valve per cylider block.
This really si the car where you have to say "don't knock it 'till you've tried it".
With mods they can make well over 200bhp!
Not sure about reland though
