Im considering getting a MK1 Mazda MX5 and fitting this bodykit www.retroforza.com and also getting the car supercharged to about 170bhp along with some suspension mods to make it a bit more pointy. What I'd like to know is, who will insure this at some sort of reasonable cost in Ireland?

Cool bodykit, reminds me of some of the better Mitsuoka stuff!

'Charger is the only thing that will really affect the premium, I'd reckon.

I have been dealing with the same brokers for insurance for years now and over the years they have only got better.

They are Campion Insurances in Cashel (062 - 61991) and the man to talk to there is Loughlin McGovern.

He can be hard to get hold of at times but it's worth the wait.

He'll talk to you in a no-nonsense way and will do all he can to get you the best quote possible.

It's worth a call and if it doesn't work out for you all it'll have cost you is a phone call.

A few more threads on the topic. Looks like Quinn and XSDirect are the ones to ask?
