Mark - I followed you (or someone that had just stolen your car!) in your new 911 while I was driving your old 911 down Burlington Road and onto Waterloo Road this morning. Flashed my lights and you and gave a quick toot on the horn but I think you just thought I was some lunatic unhappy with your driving!

Anyway, I'm a big fan of your new mobile. Looks fantastic and sounded absolutely awesome too. Might have to consider putting a sports exhaust onto the christmas list!

Hi Greg!

It wasn't me at the wheel; it was my wife doing the school run (sadly, she's overcome her aversion to the manual shift...). It's an easy mistake to make - we both drive like a big girl's blouse but she has a better excuse!

She did mention last night that she had encountered a very friendly Porsche driver who waved at her. I suppose it's telling that she didn't recognise my former car despite it having graced our driveway for 2 years.

Glad you approve of the new jalopey. Agree with you entirely about the sports exhaust. I was adamant that only the official PSE with the 'kill switch' would do but I confess that in three odd months of ownership, I've never turned the exhaust off after trying it out on the first day of ownership. Go for it - you won't regret it.
