hi guys,thanks for all the replies.i still cant find a nice 964 or gt3 in ireland.i know in price range theres a huge gap but if a mk1 gt3 came up i would up the budget ,my wife will have my head but it would be worth it.so i realy need help before i crack up i drove a few other cars but i realy have the porsche bug.so please please help me to find something decent.oh yea did Dave321 sell his gt3 thanks guys

Boona , I thnik you're absolutely crazy trying to buy a 'big moolah' Porsche in Ireland. It's p1ss easy to import one , and you will save money , find a better spec-ed car , in better condition , with all the paperwork intact..

not always the case ballcock...a decent gt3 mk1 in england is 45k sterling.. which is 67 euro ish plus vrt === 90k for a 00 reg gt3... thats not cheap ...!!

Agreed K , Irelands just not got enough out and out Porschefiles to get the sort of sales price GT3's command in the UK , so it's worth mulling that over before you buy.

The other side of the coin though is that if you're limiting yourself to the Irish market whilst looking for a '3 you'll be waiting a while unless you're very very lucky. GT3's live hard lives generally so it's important to find one that's been sympathetically looked after . That's going to be difficult enough to attain in the UK market never mind the Irish market!!

I have heard that Daves (and by default your!!) GT3 would be one of those well looked after GT3's and is good for plenty more punishment , but I'd say finding a car like that , that's been worked hard but fettled well is going to be a pretty difficult task (unless you can persuade Dave to put a price tag back on his motor!)... Therefore it's off to the UK market I'd go if in the GT3 search ...

thanks for the info guys so it looks like england it is. unless dave if your out there ,are you selling? if not u might give me a few pointers what to look out for, it will be a mk1 ill be looking for. THANKS AGAIN.
