Wondering if anyone could recommend me an insurance company/broker for the following:

Looking to insure a 166TS and an Integrale Evo as a 29 yo male with 5 years NCB, 4 years full drivers and null poit

I've been to Hibernian my current insurers (2,800 for EVO alone), FBD (no go on EVO, but cheaper on 166) and xsdirect (a healthy 1280 cathch is excess of 4k). I'm going to start ringing around first thing in the morning but my list of insurers Vs time in work allows for very little oppurtunities to make said phone calls, so if anyone could recommend a starting point I'd greatly appreciate it.

Try First Ireland Insurance brokers. I got a semi-decent deal with them via St Pauls (as a 30 year old on a 944 at the time).

Also worth trying calling AXA directly. They nearly halved the insurance on my 944 when I called them late last year.

I think St. Pauls is worth a shot also , but funnily enough their quotes vary from broker to broker..

The best quote I got was from 'Gallagher Insurances' 01 2802785

Best of luck , and if you do better elsewhere let us know!

Misunderstanding with the bank means the whole thing is a no go, so I successfully became one of those "let me talk to my bank" "potential buyers".

Anyway, best quote for anyone esle wondering was ARB with 1948 and an excess of 350euro.

Vrt however was quoted at the 5900 mark. Scary!
