Didn't know this forum existed, but was tipped off by Ireland, so hello!

I'm Paul, from Waterford, driving a restored/tweaked Mk2 Golf GTi, with a Mk1 GTi under construction at the mo.

I don't believe it !! ... I've just spotted this thread , after posting a request for info on mark 2 gti's on the WV forum earlier today.

I GOTTA GET ONE!!!!

Please , V8 , give me some ideas on what to look for when viewing a mid 80's GTI (Or whether I should bother my arse looking in the first place!!)
