This is the one I went for

www.octane.ie/cult/forum/attachmen

(I haven't figured out how to post pictures on here yet.)

I hope to have it here by Friday evening, just waiting for a clean bill of health from the HPI check.

VRT are going to love to see me coming...

A,

What is it that makes us like yellow cars ?

You seem to be as bad as I am.

Must be from watching the middle bit of the hurling jerseys when we were kids, eh

Yeah, they do sound the business.

They must be one of the best sounding cars of the lot.

I'm curious to see what the neighbours have to say about the sound, though.

One good thing is that I live in the countryside so I won't be waking up a housing estate of people if I decide we need a litre of milk at 3 in the morning (when the roads are quiet and the 24-hour shop is 25km away) ...

I can look forward to the heat building up in it while I'm in the queue for the toll plaza.

It should sound good in the Jack Lynch tunnel too.

Love your garage Funky. I toyed with getting a Saggy but not sure of ground clearance in Ireland! Think I am going to keep the 911 and buy a Caterham for general hooning....

Getting a Tiv is an itch I will have to scratch at some point!

Yeah, let me know the details of that club.

Somehow I don't think the membership numbers will be massive .....

And I look forward to seeing your new toy once you get it.

The only one I 've had a decent look at was the one on Cannonball last year, and they do look and sound the business.

Thanks for that.

I've sent him an e-mail so we'll see what happens from there.

Hopefully I'll have the car soon and I'll be there for a meet in the near future.

And just as frightening when approaching you at speed! It should give people that little bit of extra notice that they should get out of the fast lane NOW and make way for a properly fast car.

They should just have fitted forward-facing exhausts, that would have made sure people knew it was coming .....

Irish ~ Thanks a million! Yea the issues with ground clearance should be fun. But on my elise at the moment i have a very very low exhaust which grounds quite a bit. Unfortunatly it will hurt a hell of alot more when the front of the saggy decides it wants to kiss the pavement A Caterham is a very good choice, you will certainly have amazing fun in that!

Ireland ~ looks like i was beaten to the club details Probably see you at some of the meets hopefully when i drag my lazy ass there! Hows it going so far?

I'm still waiting for the V5.

Probably won't have the car for a couple of weeks yet.

I'm off to Rome on Saturday to a mates wedding so nothing is going to happen 'til I get back.

With a bit of luck the paperwork will be sorted when I come home, a couple of ferry trips and I'll be smiling big time.
