Opps! replied in the other thread!

Yes all went through yesterday after panicked phonecalls to the bank who out of the blue needed more info that they already had and a further week or so to process!

Thank God a friend of mine is the branch manager here in Sutton who had it sorted on the spot and it went off without a further glitch. Bit peeved that they were rushing me to close when the house is far from 100% but I know the foreman as well and he'll have it looked after when I want.

The relief though.

Blah blah blah if it's not closed by such and such you forfeit your deposit blah blah blah.

Plus, they'd rather have the house back anyway and make a killing on the new sale price! Just being mean really .

And thanks. Hmmmm...... car......... I think I'll get 1 Le Mans out of the mondeo and think about it next Summer.

Good Lord no. Kitchen appliances this Wed. Tilers on their feckin holidays won't be in until after the 8th and carpets hopefully a bit sooner. Then I'm in .

Not in a huge rush now the panic is over, but once the carpets and floors are in I'll move. Rent a van and bung all my worldly belongings in! Then the garden and the kitchen table and chairs and couches and tv and alarm and ..........etc etc etc!
