it's that time of the year again.
I would invite anybody to the Hodson Bay on Sunday, the 29. December 2013 at 11:30 am for a bit of banter, a bit of tyre kicking and whatever else we can come up with.
Coming from to Athlone, you take exit 12 towards Roscommon and follow the N61 into Hodson Bay. Coming into Hodson Bay, there's a signpost for the Hodson Bay itself and Athlone Golf Club. Turn right here. We'll be in the first car park, where the slip is, just before the hotel.
Coming from Roscommon, you follow the N61 towards Athlone and turn left, where it's signposted for Hodson Bay and Athlone Golf Club.
There is a fuel station with Supermacs etc. just before entering Hodson Bay from the Athlone side. The hotel also offers a good carvery. So there's plenty of opportunity for provisions.
Due to the traditional end of year meet, there will be no Athlone Cars & Coffee this weekend.
