As above , would like an owl run out as the car spends most of it's time in the garage !
Any place time would be good for me !
I'm so fecked of driving around home on my own that a meet with some pistonites with mutual feelings would be great .
The whole point of pistonheads is not to sit behind your computers but to get out and enjoy the whole injoyment of driving your pride and joy for better weather or worse .
The reason I'm saying this is because I'm not driving a 100 + miles round trip to sit at a c&c every month to see who has the biggest cleanest what ever car as it is all about driving and enjoying what you have .

The pleasure of having a car is driving it not just looking at it .

Any one any ideas time place etc ?

For me anytime anyplace anywhere !

I'm sure between us all we can come up with something !

Please note this is a social run out and any messing about is not welcome !

A lead car will dictate the route and speed with no over taking this lead vehicle aloud !

Right route suggestions , for me would be be up over Sallys gap and around onto the Wicklow gap as I've heard so much about these roads but have never been before .
Anyone live around there that knows the roads and for stopping of points breakfast or lunch .
Some one with a good camera would also come in handy !

Was up across the Wicklow gap and against my better judgement went across the Sally gap today too! I wouldn't plan on bringing the GTR across the Sally gap Peter I managed all of 20mph on most of it, surface is extremely bumpy and you can see quiet a few bottom out scrapes in places! The Wicklow gap is fine though, got a decent run for about half of it but then got stuck behind a line of traffic

The 'traditional' route is Spawell (if it's still in business) -> Blessington reservoirs -> Laragh for lunch. That road is pretty good but not necessarily quiet unless it's early enough some day. This is a pretty short blast. I can't remember which of the gaps if any that covers.

Around Dublin is more central for most of you so that why I'm suggesting around this area , would you be up for somewhere in the north then ?
Was planing to make a good day of it not just a half hour drive .
